10 April Square, Odessa Live Cam

The webcam broadcasts live footage of the square located on April 10th in Odessa's Arcadia resort area. This site is marked by the iconic "Victory Wings" stele, constructed in 1984 to commemorate the heroic city of Odessa on the 40th anniversary of its liberation from Nazi forces by the troops of the 3rd Ukrainian front on April 10, 1944. The monument features a stylized representation resembling a gull-wing design, comprised of a grey marble obelisk crowned with a golden star symbolizing the title of "Hero". Additionally, inscriptions on the two steles present the "Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR," which honors the city with the title "Hero City." The names of the Heroes of the Soviet Union are also etched on the marble panels, preserving their legacy in Odessa.
