A real-time live webcam offers a view into the nest of black storks, broadcasting continuously. An infrared camera has been set up on a tree deep within a forest in Poland's Lodz Voivodeship. The precise location of the nest remains undisclosed by the broadcast creators. The black stork (Ciconia nigra) is an exceptionally rare resident of Polish woodlands and tends to lead a reclusive existence. Since 2016, the educational initiative "Black Storks Online" has aimed to unveil the mysteries surrounding this species. This live streaming project from the nest is a collaborative effort between the Regional Office of State Forests in Lodz and the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection at the University of Lodz, making it an innovative undertaking in Poland and one of the few similar projects in Europe.
