A live webcam is set up near the nesting site of black storks in the Serakow Forest District, situated within the Notecka Forest in Poland. The nest rests on the limbs of an aged, dead oak tree, while the camera itself is affixed to a nearby pine. Ornithologists who set up this webcam have indicated that the nest is quite sizable, but they assure that the oak's branches can support its weight without issue. The extensive Notecka Forest encompasses various forest inspections, including Potzhebovice, Wronki, Kruch, Serakow, Oborniki, Karvin, Miedzychod, and Skwierzyna. This vast forest area spans around 1,372 km² in the Gorzow Valley, covering the dune zone between the Vartsa-Varka interfluve. It stretches over 100 kilometers from Santok and Skwierzyna in the west to Oborniki and Rogoshno in the east, with an average width of 20 kilometers. The black stork nest webcam operates 24/7, providing a real-time glimpse into the birds' activities. The video streaming is delivered in Full HD quality with audio.
