This dynamic camera feed, in collaboration with Câmara Municipal de Machico, allows you to explore Machico’s famed beachfront promenade, featuring the golden sands of Banda d'Além, the pebble shores of 'Praia de S. Roque', and the picturesque pier. Here, you can also see the historic fortress 'Forte de Nossa Senhora do Amparo', a well-preserved military architectural site from 1706, surrounded by scenic municipal gardens and a children's play area. This vibrant locale hosts numerous special events, including the 16th-century Medieval Market festival celebrating the Age of Discovery, the MIUT Trail Running event, and the popular Gastronomic Fair held in late July and early August.
