This is the starting point of the Mississippi River, which, as visible on the camera feed, travels an impressive distance of 2,552 miles across the United States to reach the Gulf of Mexico. Initially, the river measures just 18 feet in width and reaches a depth of knee-level as it heads northward towards Bemidji before veering eastward through a series of significant lakes.
