In the foreground, you can observe the town's main roundabout along with its principal thoroughfare, "Kongensgate," heading southward. To the right, you'll notice the Narvik War Museum, and to the left of the roundabout, there’s a fountain featuring the striking freedom monument "Life out of Chaos" (Liv opp av kaos), which portrays a woman holding a child. This sculpture is fondly referred to as the "lady on the square." Further along the street, you’ll find the Scandic Narvik hotel, a 4-star establishment known for its modern architecture.
