Osprey nest, Napiwodzko-Ramucka Forest Live Cam

A live webcam broadcasts the osprey nest situated in the Napiwodzko-Ramucka Forest of Poland in real time. This nest is perched on an artificial platform erected during the LIFE project in 2018 atop a 30-meter pine tree in the northeastern region of Poland, specifically within the Jedwabno Forest District. In 2019, the ospreys had a successful breeding season, with three chicks successfully fledging from the nest. The female osprey was fitted with a transmitter, which tracked her migration to wintering grounds in Burkina Faso, Ghana, and Ivory Coast. The camera was established in mid-March 2020, just ahead of the birds' return.
