Osprey's nest in Caledonian Forest Live Cam

A live webcam provides a real-time view of an osprey nest situated in the Caledonian Forest of Scotland. Historically, this forest once spanned a large portion of the country, but due to deforestation and various human activities, only about 1 percent remains, preserved in 35 fragmented areas across the northwest Grampian Mountains and Scottish Highlands. Through this live stream, viewers can observe the daily lives of a pair of ospreys named Louis and Aila, who return to this nest each year. The webcam broadcasts live footage from near Loch Arkaig Lake. Ospreys, known for their hunting prowess, primarily feed on fish, with over 99 percent of their diet consisting of this aquatic prey.
