Ponte delle Guglie bridge, Venice Live Cam

A live webcam broadcasts a stunning view of the Ponte delle Guglie bridge in Venice, Italy. Located north of the bridge, the camera is positioned at the Hotel Filu. Known as the "bridge of spiers," the Ponte delle Guglie is one of two bridges spanning the Cannaregio Canal. It is situated near the western end of the canal, adjacent to the Venezia Santa Lucia train station. This bridge stands at the convergence of the Cannaregio Canal and the Grand Canal, just before the curve leading toward the Rialto Bridge. Notably, the Ponte delle Guglie is Venice’s only stone bridge adorned with obelisks (guille) at each corner. Originally, a wooden bridge was constructed at this location in 1285, which was later replaced by a stone structure in 1580. The existing bridge was completed in 1777.
