Rialto Bridge, Venice Live Cam

A webcam captures the scene of the Rialto Bridge in Venice, Italy. This bridge serves as the principal connection between the two sides of the Grand Canal. Originally constructed in the 12th century, the Rialto Bridge transitioned from a floating structure to a wooden one supported by piles. In 1444, a new and much larger wooden bridge was erected on its remnants, complete with several shops along its length. The iconic stone structure we see today was completed between 1588 and 1591, designed by architect Antonio da Ponte.
