Taoyuan City (桃園市) is an administrative region located in the northwestern section of Taiwan. It shares its borders with Yilan County, Hsinchu County, New Taipei City, and the South China Sea to the northwest and west. Recognized as one of Taiwan's major metropolitan areas, Taoyuan is home to numerous industrial parks and the headquarters of various technology firms.
