Bella Hummingbird's, La Verne, California Live Cam

Little Bella, the hummingbird, has made her home in the branches of a ficus tree in La Verne, California, since at least 2005. She tirelessly nurtures up to four to five broods each year in a nest roughly the size of half a golf ball. Each delicate egg measures slightly larger than a Tic Tac. After approximately two and a half weeks, the eggs hatch, and the tiny chicks begin their journey into the world. Bella lovingly guards her young and nourishes them with a mix of insects and nectar.
