Live PTZ webcam offers various real-time views of the Daxi Bridge and its nearby environment. This bridge spans the Dahan River, situated just below Zhongzheng Park in the Daxi district of Taoyuan City, Taiwan Province, China. Designated for pedestrians and cyclists only, the Daxi Bridge is accompanied by a bike path along the left bank of the river. As night falls, the bridge is illuminated by vibrant lights, enhancing the enchanting nighttime scenery of the Dahan River. Constructed in 1934 in the Baroque architectural style, it mirrors the aesthetic of the buildings found on Daxi Old Street. Originally made of bamboo and wood, the bridge has undergone two reconstructions due to typhoon damage, with the most recent renovation completed in 2001. The contemporary Daxi Bridge features 13 supports (visible on the webcam) and spans a length of 330 meters. Locally, it’s affectionately referred to as the "Lover's Bridge," attracting tourists to Daxi Old Street due to its proximity and the recreational areas available. The webcam provides continuous high-definition Full HD live streaming around the clock.
