The highlight of this live webcam is the De Oldehove, a church spire located in Leeuwarden, a city in the Friesland province of the Netherlands. Construction on the tower commenced in 1529 but was halted in 1532 due to noticeable tilting. Despite the demolition of the adjacent church between 1595 and 1596, the brick tower has endured, and today it leans at a greater angle than Italy's famous Leaning Tower of Pisa (Torre di Pisa).
