RCVR, R/V Taani, Louisiana Live Cam

The live stream above provides various angles of the three Regional Class Research Vessels currently under construction by Oregon State University at Gulf Island Shipyards located in Houma, Louisiana, USA. These vessels are part of the University-National Oceanographic Laboratory System (UNOLS) and are being funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). The first vessel, named R/V Taani, will be stationed at Oregon State University on the West Coast. The second vessel will be the R/V Narragansett Dawn, operated by the University of Rhode Island. The third ship, R/V Gilbert R. Mason, will be managed by the University of Southern Mississippi and the Louisiana Universities Marine Consortium.
