Experience live streaming of a sea eagle's nest in real time! Situated in a tree by the Parramatta River within Sydney's Olympic Park, Australia, this nest is home to these magnificent birds of prey, which include both sea eagles and bald eagles from the hawk family. While the young bald eagles in the northern hemisphere are already flying, their counterparts in the southern hemisphere are just starting to hatch, and the seasonal differences allow us to observe these sea eagles and their chicks at any time throughout the year. You can tune into the live webcam any hour of the day, although at night, the footage will appear in black and white. The high-definition Full HD video includes sound, and an operator can manipulate the camera to highlight the most captivating moments. Launched in 2009, this eagle nest webcam provides a continuous feed from the Discovery Centre located within the Newington Armory at Sydney Olympic Park, near the Parramatta River. The project, known as EagleCAM, was initiated and is funded by a dedicated group of volunteers from BirdLife Australia, who are committed to maintaining and enhancing the technology that brings these stunning sea-eagles directly to your screen.
